COVID-19 Preventative Practices

Like all of you, we’ve been monitoring the evolving global impact of the coronavirus (COVID 19) and, as always, our commitment to our patient and employee wellbeing is of top priority. So we’d like to share what we have been doing in our operation to uphold our that commitment during this time.

What Connect Hearing is doing

Connect Hearing continues to closely monitor the pandemic situation and are taking action in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local health officials. We are taking the actions necessary to help protect our patients and staff. Specifically, if we are notified of a patient or staff member testing positive for COVID-19, our facilities will be temporarily closed until they are medically cleared.

In addition to following all CDC, WHO and FDA regulations and recommendations, here’s what else we’re doing to be proactive:

Increasing clinic and facility sanitation, especially in high touch areas
Stringent usage of hand sanitizer and gloves
Continuous focus and training on all cleaning and hygiene procedures
Appending sick policies to allow more flexibility and preventative testing

What you can do

Practice good hygiene. Wash your hands frequently. Cover your nose and mouth if you have to sneeze or cough. And use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol content. Please stay home if you are sick.
Stay informed. The CDC and the World Health Organization (WHO) are updating their sites with the latest information.
Feeling ill or recently travelled? Any patient or employee that is feeling ill is encouraged to stay home until they are recovered. We have a 100% commitment to getting your appointment rescheduled as soon as possible
